Some causes don’t begin with a plan—they begin with a feeling. A silent pain on the roadside. A hungry Gaumata standing near a temple gate. A घायल (injured) cow looking for shade, water, and one gentle hand. This campaign is a humble initiative by Punyakart Foundation, working with the on-ground support of Krishna Dham Gaushala, to ensure that rescued, abandoned, and ailing Desi cows receive food, shelter, and timely medical treatment. Our focus is simple: no Gaumata should be left to suffer without care, and no घायल cow should lose life because help arrived too late.

Why this Gau Seva matters

In many parts of India, cows hold deep cultural and spiritual significance, but beyond tradition, they deserve compassion as living beings. Thousands of cows are abandoned after they stop giving milk, injured in accidents, or left starving on streets. Many are weak, milk-barren, elderly, or suffering from untreated wounds and infections. Through this campaign, we provide a safe home where Gaumata can rest, recover, and live with dignity—supported by caretakers and veterinary arrangements that work day and night.

What your donation supports

• Rescue & intake care: Emergency support for abandoned and injured cows, basic first-aid, and safe shifting to shelter.
• Chara, green fodder & nutrition: Daily feeding, seasonal fodder needs, पानी (clean drinking water), and mineral support.
• Medical treatment & recovery: Medicines, wound dressing, supportive therapy, and ongoing care for chronic conditions.
• Shelter & comfort: Clean bedding, shaded areas, winter protection, and a peaceful space for old and weak cows.
• Care for calves: Gentle support so that calves are not deprived—nurturing and feeding are arranged with motherly attention.

Seva beyond the Gaushala

As part of our seva spirit, we support simple food-grain offerings for birds and arrange feed support for animals that depend on the local ecosystem. Where possible, we also promote plantation and cleanliness drives near community routes—because protecting Gaumata also means protecting the environment around her.

Why we request your contribution

Gau Seva is not a one-day action—it is daily responsibility. Each rescued cow needs consistent भोजन, regular चिकित्सा (medical) attention, and a safe shelter maintained by caretakers. Your donation becomes fodder for a hungry cow, medicine for an infected wound, or warmth for an old Gaumata during cold nights. Even a small contribution helps us continue rescue work, maintain recovery care, and keep the shelter running with dignity and transparency.
