Sakat Chauth (also known as Sakat Chaturthi) is a sacred day of devotion and sankalp, dedicated to Lord Ganesha. On this auspicious occasion, Punyakart Foundation dedicates its efforts to Vanar Seva—a responsible monkey feeding drive in the holy towns of Vrindavan and Mathura. In temple lanes, ghats, and surrounding areas, many monkeys struggle daily for safe food and clean water. When food becomes scarce, they face weakness, dehydration, and higher risk of injury. This seva is a humble step to reduce their hardship and offer nourishment with dignity—calmly, cleanly, and without chaos.

Why Vanar Seva on Sakat Chauth Matters

Sakat Chauth teaches us that devotion becomes meaningful when it becomes compassion. In Vrindavan–Mathura, monkeys live close to crowded human spaces and often depend on irregular offerings.
