This campaign is Punyakart Foundation’s heartfelt initiative to offer Vanar Seva through responsible monkey feeding and support for community monkeys living around temples, ghats, and nearby settlements.

Monkeys in such sacred and crowded areas live close to people, depending largely on irregular food sources. During seasonal changes, their struggle becomes even more visible—thin bodies, dehydration, mothers searching for safe nourishment, and injured or elderly monkeys unable to compete for food. When the crowd leaves and the bells fade, many of them remain hungry. Vasant Panchami gives us a meaningful opportunity to become the reason they are fed, protected, and treated with dignity.

Along with feeding, we also try to identify monkeys that are injured, weak, or elderly, so they can be guided toward appropriate care and assistance through local support networks wherever possible.
